Sustainability and Responsibility

Dear Valued Borghese Customer,

In 2024, Borghese began a new chapter; The Borghese Renaissance, one aspect is focused on sustainability, responsibility, and innovation.

Our goal is to achieve key sustainability milestones by 2029, including reducing packaging waste, increasing recyclable and upcycled materials, improving packaging solutions, and refining our formulas to meet higher standards.

Today, just two years into our five-year journey, we have already achieved 73% of our packaging improvement goals.

Key changes you will see include:

Eliminating unnecessary secondary packaging and excess cartons
Reducing labels and unnecessary packaging components
Transitioning many products to more sustainable glass packaging
Streamlining materials to improve recyclability and reduce waste
Removing ingredients that do not meet our Clean Formulation Standards

We remain committed to reaching our 2029 goals and making improvements that benefit our customers and the environment.

Meaningful change takes time, dedication, and investment. While this transformation has not always been easy, the progress we have made has been both rewarding and inspiring. We are proud of how far we have come and energized by the work that still lies ahead.
