A few people have asked me whether they should jump on the Beta or just wait for the official PageMotor release. Let’s look at what we know and at the experience of current Beta participants.

Uncertain timing: I do not know when PageMotor will have its official public release. Right now, Q1 2027 looks like the earliest it could happen (that’s an optimistic outlook).

If you choose to wait, you’ll be waiting an uncertain amount of time. And in AI years, ~6+ months may as well be forever. I’m watching current Beta participants build incredible things within 2 weeks of joining. What is their output going to look like in 6 months?

With AI, the “graphs go up”... and they just keep going up 📈

What’s the value of early access? While there’s definitely something to be said for getting out in front of everyone else with AI, that’s not what I see as the value here.

The real value for Beta participants is in molding what the PageMotor ecosystem becomes—and in being able to use what comes out of that for free.

Just this week, someone asked about functionality for an ecommerce website. Here’s how that experience went:

“I honestly don’t know what to say — I just asked about the plugin features, and one after another, in the same thread, you’ve shipped exactly what I needed so quickly and thoughtfully — it’s like magic. Thank you so much.

This rounds out the architecture for the membership sites I’m about to build — manual level assignment for approved applicants, and now Sitewide Required Level with Public Paths for the landing page and application form. I am so grateful.”

Not even our commercial customers in the future are going to get this kind of treatment. Only Beta participants get the genie in a bottle experience.

You get access to the Plugins that already exist. But unlike anywhere else, you also get input and access to the Plugins that don’t even exist yet.

There’s never been an experience like the PageMotor Beta before. There’s nothing to compare it to.

“It is so much faster to put up a Page Motor site... than building one in WordPress. And so much more fun.”

This is my favorite thing about the PageMotor Beta. It’s FUN. When was the last time you had fun with a website?

Join the PageMotor Beta where you’ll play like a kid but build like a professional.

See you tomorrow,

— Chris Pearson (PageMotor & Practical AI)
