The waistband alone takes two to three times longer to make than an entire pant at most brands. Most waistbands are an afterthought - a strip of fabric, a few stitches, done. When you tension it through the day it buckles, digs in, feels like a rope around your waist by 3pm. I’ve always hated that. So we rebuilt it from scratch. The Skyline’s waistband is reinforced with bonding layers, built higher than you’re used to, with a wide elastic panel hidden in the back that gives just enough hold to keep the fit perfect all day, even beltless.

Every key seam and contact point is lined with Cognac Silk™. Not because anyone will see it, but because you feel it every single time you reach into a pocket or put the pant on and because fabric wears from the inside out. The contact points are where garments fail first. A cheap lining accelerates that, creating friction, trapping moisture, distorting the outer fabric in ways you don’t notice until it’s too late. Cognac Silk™ has the lowest friction coefficient of any natural fiber. It protects the structure from the inside, which means the pant holds its shape through years of wear rather than months. And on a dressy pant like the Skyline, it acts as an airframe - giving the lightweight Italian satin the inner structure it needs to drape and hold the way it should.

The buttons and zippers are oversized and camera metal, made to the same standard as the rest of the pant. I’ve always hated the flimsy, microscopic hardware you usually find on pant, so we make our own. The zipper pull is scaled to fit a real hand. The buttons have weight and presence. Every time you use them you feel the difference - and once you do, everything else you own will feel like it’s missing something.
