Can I wear my Kyrgies outside?

Our Tengries Walkabouts and Outdoor Wool Slides are the only styles with rubberized soles created specifically for outdoor wear. Our traditional models are meant for indoor use. Stepping outside in your leather sole Kyrgies won't ruin them, but it's not what they made for. Indoor or Outdoor we don't recommend getting your wool felt very wet. They will absorb water and won't be very cozy.

Can I throw my Kyrgies in the wash?

We don’t recommend machine washing Kyrgies—felted wool can shrink or lose shape, and leather soles may bleed. For cleaning, try a dry brush, spot clean with a wool-friendly detergent. Dry cleaning is also a great option!
