Hi Unknown,

Tevra has been serious about growing on Walmart for a while. Their goal is for Walmart to eventually reach 10% of their Amazon sales.

And there’s a good reason for that. Building a real business on Walmart gives Tevra another place to reach customers and another source of revenue when things don’t go as planned on Amazon.

“When something happens on Amazon to a listing, the Walmart sales go up,” said Tevra’s Justin Halloran. “Instead of just losing out on sales, we are still making those sales. We're just making them on another channel.”

Justin has also learned that succeeding on Walmart takes more than bringing over what already works on Amazon. Customers shop differently, so his team has spent time building a Walmart-specific strategy.

His advice to other brands is simple: “Don't copy and paste and hope it works. Really, really spend time on it because it's going to be worth it.”

That work is paying off. Tevra has built Walmart into a $100K+ monthly sales channel and is well on its way toward that 10% goal.

If you’re looking to build or grow your own Walmart business, see how Zentail can help.
