We started District Vision in 2015 as two old friends in our late twenties who found running and meditation through a series of life changing events. We believed in a more mindful approach to sports and the technical product to go along with it. This didn't make much sense to our friends at the time but somehow we kept it going.

We often talk about how the process of building District Vision has been a form of therapy for us. Whenever we got too fixated on a specific outcome, we tended to land flat on our faces. Conversely, when we let go, we were surprised with all the beauty that life has to offer.

Above all, District Vision has taught us humility. We have learned it has never been about the two of us. It's a dialogue with you that defines the way this flower grows and we're just trying out best to water it every day.

To this day we have not taken a dollar of outside investment and continue to handle all aspects of the customer experience internally. When you message us, someone from our family of mindful athletes in California will do their best to respond with love and patience.

And if we don't get back to you right away, we're probably out trail running, hiking, climbing or sitting in meditation. The center for inner peace, at its core, is a way of being and we're continuing to explore what this means with curiosity and an open heart.
