My wife will tell you that the best time to go to a marriage retreat is when you have a good marriage!

This weekend we are wrapping up the 2nd marriage retreat that my wife Val led with a small group at our short-term rental property on Bass Lake.

One of the many things I appreciate about Val is her ability to step into peoples lives and inspire positive change.

This year she gave away the book The 4 Habits of Joy-Filled Marriages to all that attended.

Its a quick read and has some great tips for living life well.

I hope your weekend brought a little of that same kind of good.
