The Exposed Journey

The Roots - 2001

As our founder Jeff and his long-time friend were hanging out, they stumbled across a news piece on Proactiv®. Jeff’s friend immediately expressed the lackluster results he had achieved with pro-active throughout his teenage years, baffled by the long list of harsh chemicals & poor quality ingredients.

Ah-Ha Moment.

The lightbulb went off. There HAD to be a way to create a more natural acne solution that actually worked.

We Landed Our FIRST Customer.

Ironically, Jeff learned that his friend’s mother was obsessed with natural remedies for healing. She expressed her interest in trying a cleaner skin care solution as she refused to use Proactiv® as it was filled with harmful chemicals.

Exposed Was Born.

Jeff started researching ingredients, came up with a recipe, & worked tirelessly with experts to perfect a revolutionary skin care solution free of parabens and harsh chemicals. He experimented with manufacturers, built his own website, & started blogs to generate buzz. Slowly but surely, he began to generate a group of core customers.
