VICTORIAN CHARM:
JH CHARM CHAIN

Originally used to secure a pocket watch to the interior of a waistcoat, the colloquially known 'Albert Chain' was first popularized by Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria, who was oft photographed with a visible watch chain dangling at the waist. The chains were held in place by a 'T-bar,' or clasp fastened on the inside of a button-hole, with fobs and charms added to the exterior for a personal touch.

Fast forward to the 21st-century, the piece has found a second life in the form of a necklace, with a clasp worn in the front that provides ample room for an array of pendants and serves as a decorative charm on its own. Inspired by this Victorian staple piece, our Charm Chain features a swivel dog clip and spring ring clasp that allows you to display a single charm (or many) with ease. Available in curb or paperclip chain and the option to add a T-bar.
