"Horses!" we call out, as we pass an occupied field, irrelevant to whether we're with others or driving alone.

Noel Asmar felt it before she could tie her own shoes. As a child she'd look out the car window and blow a kiss to every horse they passed. Horses were never a phase to grow out of. They became the connection that made her feel the most like herself.

After many years and travels through more than thirty countries she had built a career in solving practical apparel problems with style in the spa and hospitality industry. Her equestrian passion never wavered, and after getting a horse of her own, she went looking for a jacket for hacking. Something that allowed her to enjoy what she loved rain or shine without asking her to give up how she wanted to look while doing it.

When she couldn't find the right one, she set out to make it herself: water and wind resistant, expandable to cover the saddle, flattering enough to wear well after you'd dismounted. That jacket became the All Weather Rider. In 2011, it then became the beginning of everything else.

There were plenty of satisfactory options in this industry back then. We were never interested in satisfactory. We wanted elevated design and real function to exist in the same piece — the same whimsy that once made a child blow kisses at passing horses, grown up into something you could actually wear.
