Something new for us at Workshop, our first cascara is here!

Made from the carefully dried skins of the coffee cherry, cascara offers a completely different way to experience coffee. Our first release comes from Shyira, Rwanda’s highest-elevation washing station, where coffee is grown by 1,869 smallholder farmers across the surrounding hills, reaching up to 2,400 metres.

At Shyira, selected cherries are handled with the same care as the coffee itself. They’re hand harvested, carefully sorted and gently dried with controlled airflow and regular turning.
