Your monthly hotel round up

Happy spooky season, one and all. This month, we’ve hand-picked our favourite seasonal stays: a former Berlin prison turned glamorous hotel, an allegedly haunted thirteenth-century castle in Ireland and a cosy Michigan inn straight out of a Hallmark movie. If you really want to scare yourself silly, we’ve also got brand-new round-ups of the best haunted hotels and Airbnbs in the UK and the US. Book a stay – if you dare.

Hotel of the month

Wilmina Berlin

This historic hotel might be one of the city’s most glamorous addresses - but it was once a fully operational prison. Does it get much spookier than that?
