My name is Nadya, and I’m one of the co-founders of August. I wanted to not only introduce myself but genuinely say thank you for choosing our period care.

August was born out of a belief that everyone deserves period care that’s sustainable, inclusive, and designed with dignity in mind. For me, that belief started young, when I saw how period poverty and stigma affected people I cared about. It sparked something in me, and it’s shaped everything I’ve worked towards ever since. 

But August isn’t just my story. It’s ours. 

Since launching in 2021, we’ve built a brand that’s powered by a passionate, period-positive community (yes, that includes you!) and designed to meet real needs with real care:
