Hi there,

When I first heard about a U-shaped toothbrush, I didn’t think it would work.

I had seen the other ones. Most use silicone bristles, which studies show do not clean off plaque very well. So when Autobrush landed on my desk, I assumed it was probably the same thing and that it did not work! But man oh man was I wrong!

Here is what bothers me. In dentistry, we have given patients the same regular manual or electric toothbrush for decades, and they still come back with the same problems. Cavities are still the most common preventable disease in kids.

Autobrush uses nylon bristles, not silicone, and it’s the only U-shaped toothbrush the ADA has accepted.

That acceptance is hard to earn.

It means the brush was tested for safety and effectiveness, and it held up. What got me was the gum-health improvement: up to a 45% reduction in gingivitis compared to a manual brush.*

It cleans better, takes less time, and is easier to hold, which matters a lot for kids, parents, and anyone who needs extra help.

That is when I stopped doubting it. And I knew I had to be part of it. Finally, an oral health company that invested innovative and new technology efforts for the patient and not the dentist.

If you are still unsure like I was: there is no better time to give it a shot.

See what I recommend →

Chief Dental Officer

*Based on clinical studies conducted at Salus, an ADA-accredited research facility. ADA acceptance applies to Autobrush electric brushes and brush heads only.
