Hi friend,

Soon after launching the physical game in 2019, I realized Q-Less would make a good App. I found several companies online that programmed digital games, but I didn't feel comfortable with any of them. I'm a very hands on guy and I like being involved in the creative process. That's hard to do with corporations.

In the spring of 2022 I got a call from Asif Ameer, a young guy in Karachi, Pakistan who had discovered my game on TikTok. He loved it and wanted to program the App. In fact, he'd already programmed the "roll of the dice." His video really impressed me as did the sound effects. Plus, we hit it off immediately. And his English was flawless. So, Asif and I embarked on a journey to create the Q-Less App. It was a very collaborative experience... just what I wanted. We met regularly on Zoom to figure out what we wanted the App to look like... and feel like. As a former filmmaker, I am very picky about visuals like colors, fonts, layouts etc. And Asif was really good at converting my visions into digital realities. To me, what he did was magic. In a few months we had a beautiful functioning Q-Less App. And we made it available for users of both Apple and Android devices.

Now here we are in 2026. Asif is still a valuable member of the Q-Less Team. And we have made a lot of improvements to the Q-Less App. It will now give you word definitions. Also, if you have trouble solving a particular roll, it will solve it for you. It also keeps track of streaks. You can go to MY STATS and it will tell you the count of your current streak and it will remember your longest streak. The MY STATS page also keeps track of your total number of rolls AND the number and percentage you have solved. On a personal note, I am proud to say I recently hit 50,000 rolls. I have solved 91% of them.

The future of the App looks bright. In some situations, it's just easier to play Q-Less on your phone. Also, the App requires no shipping and that makes the game available and inexpensive for English speakers in countries all over the world. I should add that we are currently testing a prototype of Q-Less En Espanol.
